Meet Our Happy Farm Family
Welcome to Sunshine Linings Studio, located on a beautiful hobby farm where we invite you to meet our happy farm family. Our residents include adorable goats, 5 rescue donkeys, a handful of chickens and two roosters, two barn kitties and two German Shepherds. It's a great place for you to experience the joy of connecting with nature and animals.
Meet our crew! We have 5 donkeys we rescued from Save the Brays-a rescue organization who provided a safe spot for hundreds of long ears until they found loving homes! We were lucky to have found 5 that we brought into our family! Gary (little gray guy getting lots of love) and Doug (dark brown) are a bonded pair who go everywhere together. Kevin (brown with a white nose) is our toddler donkey who loves causing trouble and loving us. The girls came to us most recently...mama is Dolly and her baby is Dot and was born in June of 2024. They are very shy but we are working on learning that people are friends and not scary!
Our first group of goats came to the farm in the spring of 2023! This herd includes 3 girls and 4 boys! Let's start with the ladies...we have Tulip, the kindest girl who LOVES to do goat yoga and jump on your back, Barbra, tiny but mighty and Lady GaGoat, our sassy and independent woman! Our boys include twins Dill and Pickle who are just sweet and kind and act like dogs, Hershey who just goes with the flow and the rockstar of the bunch, Jon Bon Goaty.
The second crew of our herd came to us in the spring of 2024! We have 3 girls and 3 boys! The girls are Ariana Goate who is clueless, kind and snuggly. Then we have sisters Sunny who is a sweetheart and Goatprah Winfrey (Winnie) who is teeny tiny but feisty! Our boys are Mini Jon Bon who will be right up in your face asking for treats and nibbling on your hair, and then we have Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson both...the GOATs. This past fall of 2024 we got the chance to take on 3 Nubian goats named Pancho, Hank and Leftie! They came to us from one of my sweet former students who showed them in 4H! They are SO sweet and fit right in! We also have a crew of chickens and two barn cats named Smalls and Hamilton!
